Chocolate is wonderful for the hair and skin due to it being rich with vitamins and nutrients. It contains minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, copper and potassium. It also has antioxidants, vitamin A, flavanoids and smells fantastic. What's not to love?

This was a fun recipe I created to give hair great sheen. It is also super slippery for easy detangling. Give it a try and you'll love using chocolate in your hair.

Coconut + Chocolate

Deep Conditioner

1/2 cup of raw cocoa powder

1 tablespoons of liquid amino acids

1 cup of raw aloe vera gel

4 tablespoons of daily dew oil

3 tablespoons of honey

4 drops of each essential oil: peppermint, lavender

1/2 cup of coconut cream

Blend everything together in a bowl and well mixed.

Apply to freshly washed hair. .

Cover the hair with a disposable shower cap and hair turban. Leave in for 30-40 mins.

Detangle the hair. I like to use a shower comb. It has tons of slip so it is very easy to detangle the hair effortlessly.

Rinse the hair and scalp well.

Moisturize and seal the hair as normal.

You will notice how smooth and soft your hair has became immediately after using this treatment. Those curls, coils and waves will be very shiny and defined. It smells really good too!

*If you have lightly colored or dyed hair not in the light brown to blonde family the cocoa can possibly stain the hair. Be cautious.
