Many have allergies to added ingredients in commercial deodorants. If you need an effective yet inexpensive homemade deodorant give my version a try. It is great for those with sensitive skin.

Natural Deodorant

1/2 cup of arrowroot powder
20 drops of each essential oil of choice (ex: tea tree, peppermint, lavender etc..)
4 tablespoons of beeswax
1/3 cup of unrefined coconut oil
1 teaspoon of vitamin e oil

Melt the beeswax and budding butter treat, or butter + oil, in a double boiler or saucepan on a low heat setting. Be sure to stir it regularly.
Pour into a bowl and mix well with the arrowroot powder. Use a whisk to be sure there aren't any lumps. *Arrowroot powder removes the greasy feeling that can occur from using oils and butters.
Add in the essential oils and vitamin e oil and mix well to full incorporate it.
Pour it into empty deodorant containers of choice. Makes for easy application.
*Optional: If you prefer a deodorant cream leave out the beeswax and store the mixture in a jar.

That's it! No chemicals or unnecessary additives.
Just apply as normal and enjoy.

Disclaimer: If you are allergic to any of these ingredients avoid use. Always consult a physician before trying if you have any concerns and do a patch test. This is not an antiperspirant.
