Brighten up your winter with this refreshing body scrub. It increases blood circulation, removes old skin cells and leaves your skin feeling super silky after each use. This is a great treat for the skin that can be done several times a week. The fragrance definitely reminds me of summertime.

Ingredients

1 cup of brown sugar

1/3 cup of budding butter treat

1 tablespoon of frozen blueberries

3 drops of peppermint essential oil (optional)

Why use these ingredients?

Blueberries: Are ant-aging, help to reduce excess oil on the skin and can reduce the appearance of scars and acne.

Brown Sugar: an exfoliant for gentle removal of dead skin cells.

Budding Butter Treat: Whipped infused blend of butter and oils in a mango butter base. It has excellent restorative and moisturizing properties. For more information click here.

Peppermint: A natural stimulant. Ideal for increased blood circulation.

Directions

Put the frozen blueberries into a food processor and pulse until it is broken down into smaller pieces.

Add all other ingredients to the food processor and mix until they are well incorporated.

Mix all ingredients together.

Pour into a cute jar for storage.

*Be sure to refrigerate when not in use. It spoils quickly so be sure to use within a week.

Use

Apply to the skin and rub in a circular motion.

Leave on for 5 mins.

Rinse well with warm water and pat dry.

Moisturize as normal.

 Give it a try. Enjoy!
